Forum Search Problem

First, I only encounter this problem when using Firefox (1.5.0.4).

When I input a keyword to search for, i.e. "Widget Problem", the view of the search results page is all wrong.

The author's name under the title section is half cut off (horizontally).

The number of "Replies" are not in their column, but appear directly to the right of the "Last Reply" column...outside in the blue/gray background.

The names of the poster's in the "Last Reply" column are not visible at all.

When I am directed to the searched paged, it becomes so large, there is a horizontal scroll bar that is needed. Upon scrolling to the right, nothing appears, just white.

I need to specify that in my normal browsing using FF on WC, it is not common to have to use a Horizontal scroll bar. When I do, I never have empty space as shown in the Photo.

One more issue that may or may not be a problem. When I enter a keyword to search for using IE or FF, I then proceed to push the enter button on my keyboard. This, however, does not work. The page reloads to the same page, then I have to enter my data all over again. I can only use the search function when I click the search button provided.Again, this might be the only way, I just wasn't sure.

Here are the links to the photo's if you need a peek at what I am speaking of.

Hey KiloKrash,

Thanks for posting. We really appreciate you do that. We have a fix internally, it just needs to make it's way out to production. Some how a value for the width of one of the columns got set to 1100 instead of 110. opps!

I'll look into why some data is missing as well.

Thanks for the post!

The issue with the last reply info not being present for the author name is due to some information not being populated on those older posts. Eventually, that data will be populated and that issue will work it's way out. Once new posts are made on those articles, that information will get populated.

We're having internal issues today, and not sure when we'll be able to resolve them. It has to do with how we publish code to the website, and related to an outtage we had at our main office. It may be some time until the fix for this issue is published to the website.
