i just downloaded one of the bootscreen and a new skin for winxp but how do i install theM? do i need to put those item in a specfic folder? reply asap thx!

Go here: https://www.wincustomize.com/software.aspx

Read the descriptions to make sure you get teh app you need. Download and install.

Then download a skin or bootscreen and they should self apply.

Skins for XP require windowblinds

Bootskins require BootSkin

To install windowblinds skins:

if .wba file, just double click on the file and a bubble should appear on the taskbar saying that the new skin has been installed, open WB and look for the installed skin. Then simply double click, or click and press Apply Skin.

if .zip file, save the file to a memorable location (such as My Documents) then open WB. Click on Add Skin and open the .zip file of the skin. Then, it should appear on the menu and apply the skin.

I don't know how to install BootSkins as i have never used BootSkin before.
