Game Settings and Metaverse Score

I've just created my first metaverse character

So I just wanted to ask if anyone knows what settings count into the final score of a game. Sure galaxy size and ai levels do count in somehow.
But does turning off tech trade yield more points? Or does setting your relations with the ai to friendly/hostile yield less/more points at the end?

Anyone knows about the influence of settings?

It's a mystery... As far as I know, the only clear thing is that more population is more points. So Gigantic, abundant/abundant/abundant and (scattered or loose) is best. (Tight clusters definately has less planets.)

You'd think that the other options could have an effect, but so far no one knows. Some of the options should be sort of a push since they effect both you and the AI, but the AI doesn't exploit them. Anomolies for example.

I've come to believe that fast research gets you a better tec score at the end, but don't have proof of it. (other than other players getting a tec score 2-3X that of mine who were playing fast research while i stick with normal)

AI level doesn't change you score but time played does. Military conquest gets the most points while alliences gets you the least and in my opinion, research victory doesn't score enough points. Check out my metaverse game list if you want to try to find and paterns:

AI level does affect your score. Look at the top10. It's just not clear how much. I guess i thought it was obvious since i didn't mention it. For me it's around 20% more from crippling to masochist, but i have been playing differently since i went to maso.

how about settings like fast tech, or that one that lets ai design ships more often?
and how about ai count?

when you play as any race, on what you spend your 10 points of bonus? and what political party you choose?

You get points for how many techs you research. If you get them through trade, you don't get the points. Personally, that would not work well for me because I rely heavily on buying techs so it would kind of mess up my game. But, it improves your overall score when you research them (or better, steal them).
