Just to make sure we do not forget how "PATRIOTIC" the Hollywood crowd is, in protest of the war in Iraq and in support of Cindy {you do not speak for me! } Shehan A number of so called "STARS" are going to forgo their lifestyle of flying their own jets to shop in Paris and eating nothing but the best foods America has to offer and Fast one whole day! WOW!

Gee a whole 24 hours with no food, but I am sure lots of EVIAN WATER to make sure these pampered morons do not get dehydrated.

Hollywood once again shows how far and wide the separation is between mainstream America and the Liberal secularist movement.

It goes to show I think how far apart they are from the rest of America if they think this isn't really, really bad PR. They actually see themselves as doing something noble, never realizing how shallow and meaningless it looks to the rest of the world.

I feel sorry for them. They don't realize that they live in a big zoo. They are caricatures of humans that the rest of humanity keeps pampered and safe so that we can watch them do entertaining things. In the end we really don't respect them. They are pets.

I have done that twice in the last 2 months (blood tests) and regularly do it twice a year (Ash Wednesday and Good Friday).  I hardly see how their idiocy is even news.  Much less intelligent news.

I absolutely love that they are doing their fasting as part of a "rolling" fast -- one gets to starve one day, then the next day someone else does. Meanwhile they let Cindy Sheehan run out and take point by doing it over several days.

Not that I'm that concerned that Ms. Sheehan may wither away and disappear from the public spectacle, but it's pretty damn hypocritical to claim you are supporting her and the cause by doing such a token act as they are. If they want to support her, then go whole hog. Fast until she quits. Hunger strike until you get change or until you wither up so badly you get even more attention by requiring medical attention.
