53 Precursor Corvettes

No, it's not the title of the most popular song in Drengin space, it's the result of an event that happened to the Arcean AI in my last game.
Once the "prison planet breakout" event happened in Arcean space, the 53 Precursor corvettes stayed in place beside the three 45/497 HP Prison battle cruisers. I had to take out the battle cruisers to ensure the safety of a new trade route, but I'm not certain that they would have actually attacked another ship. The corvettes and battle cruisers sat right next to each other for at least six turns while I sent a frigate down to clear out the cruisers. This was once I noticed they were there; the event(s) happened some time before I checked out the Arcean corner of the galaxy.
I went back to a "Tolerable" level for this game and it was less than challenging. Fortunately, I only had a large galaxy, so it didn't go on forever. Of course, at the end of the game I'm still rated as having presided over a cakewalk. Sigh...
End transmission.
