So, this morning I see headlines that say: Bin Laden Wants al-Zarqawi Body Released to which I say suuuuuuuure. Release that body. One tiny piece at a time. Cut it up and send back the pieces to Bin Laden.

{ Hank Hill speak mode } Heck, I tell you what { end Hank Hill speak mode } I'll even release the body directly to Bin Laden, the whole body, just as soon as Bin Laden tells us where he'll be to pick it up {big wide evil grin}. Of course it might come with a few "bonuses" or other surprises, maybe a nice surprise drop of unexpected items raining down from a few planes over head.

Uh yeah, we'll be sure to get right on that request there Osama. Just as soon as you tell the gang to drop their Jihad and give themselves up.

BTW, chances of doing anything to satisfy a demand by Osama are about the same as the chances of seeing the regular round of Bush bashers ever write something positive about the Bush administration.

Are you so dumb to think that's what I was talking about. I meant capture him in general!!! Bombing him would make him a matyr, a trial will take the shine off the Bin Laden legend that may well inspire Muslims in the future.

Consider it in light of what Zarqawi's group does with bodies. In one Iraqi town they killed several young men, cut off their heads, and placed them in the middle of town with a note pinned to them saying whoever moved them would end up the same way.

One boy's father couldn't bear it and went to get the body, not realizing that they had removed the organs and stuffed the body with explosives. When the father moved it, it killed him too. Other times they have purposely left bodies where they could be found without the head, to make the impact on the family and the overall terror more effective.

So, frankly, I think we should hang zarqawi's body out in front of the white house dressed in a clown nose, big shoes, and a tutu; his genitals tucked neatly in his mouth. I'm tired of fighting people with one hand tied behind our backs out of some faux-idealism.
