The top secret letter from the office of Chief of the Army Staff, R.A.J, A.S and Security/ 1/9/1/7059 on 24 September 2001, Mr. Chairman of the Army Staff reviewed the minute of meeting of Operation Cell on 23 September 2001 and his Excellency approval was obtained for the following: A. Inform the Commands, the Departments, all the Directorates and Establishments to immediately move to the Replacement Headquarters in case a strike occurred against Afghanistan. B. Ensure that the border observation posts and the Air Defense posts to inspect and observe the sectors in precise fashion day and night with the necessity of the Air Defense Command an the Commands of the Corps to test and inspect the communication system and there will be committees coming in the next week from the General Headquarters to test what was mentioned above.
