Must be part of the conspiracy: Al-Zarqawi and news cycles

Before the left even gets a chance to start whispering conspiracy, I'm here to deflate the potential....

NOTE to all conspiracy theorists -- the death of Al-Zarqawi wasn't timed, or planned to happen in any way possible that would be part of any conspiracy to help provide good news for the GOP and President Bush.

I'm sure there are idiots out there that want to believe that a string of bodies will show up from our most wanteds list all managed and timed specifically so that the GOP will get the credit for it and will be able to erase any bad publicity that may be occuring as we near the November elections. It's not that big of a leap to see the rabid types out there claiming these things, even with not a whiff of truth, and even though the same individuals would just as quickly be tossing up questions of "where is Bin Laden?" to use to try to denigrate everything positive that has occured so far in the war on terror.

Just be ready, and be aware that there's no truth to any of it, as what happens when is a matter of luck more than just about any other thing that could be considered a part of it.

Yesterday there was a conference with the President and when the President asked for comments one of the Dems said that it might be good if they could catch zarqawi. Several people chuckled at the president's expense. During that meeting one of the military types kept getting up and down answering phone calls, which ended up being about the death of zarqawi.

You want to talk about feeling like a conspiracy is at work, think about being that smug Dem. You know Bush would probably be tempted to call and tell him personally that they took care of his suggestion.

Thanks for the laugh Baker.

But in answer to the question, there is a left wing nut job on another board I frequent that insists everytime something good happens in the war on terrorism, it is to cover up a Bush Scandal.  She has not responded on this topic yet, I guesss she is trying to figure out which one to pin it on.

As expected, I hit at least one such conspiracy theorist's comments on a blog while clicking and exploding around through the traffic exchanges tonite. Had to expect it, the left is just so predictable.

i am confused....i have read several accusations from the left, that we have "killed" him several times before....

When? When did we ever say he was dead? I know that we have thought he was dead, but then proven that it wasn't him. But when have we said, 100% that he was dead?

That Psychotic Patriot best be careful. Just because he's paranoid, doesn't mean we're not out to get him. I reckon his logo is a couple of straight jackets, but is it just me - don't they look like flag-draped enema bags?

It is not a good thing if the death of Zarqawi becomes a major point in the domestic politics of the Reps and the Dems.
