How long does it take to make a character?

I tried to make a character to play Metaverse, but it gave me the "ProcessingData" page for ten minutes before I hit the X. I tried again, this time without a race logo (I do have the other two fields filled out), and it's giving me "_ProcessingData" for 20 minutes and counting. Do I have to do anything special here?

Edit: My Javascript error console says something about security violation errors. I'm using Opera 8.54, if it matters.

Edit 2: Okay, disabling my anti-virus and bottoming-out all my security settings doesn't help. Is there any other way to get to that feature, or is it no Metaverse for me? (:(

Edit 3: Hmmm, no delete option. Well, no matter... it worked in IE. So never mind. :)

Please do try and use our search function here on the forums. The metaverse website only supports Firefox and IE due to Opera's lack of proper JS support. Glad you got it worked out.
