Hehe that's crazy.

After the guardian robot for shopping center (japan) now it's the cloaking device !!!

Old science fiction movie now just look like reality movie !!!

There was a story somewhere about an "invisibility device" a few years back, but it was actually a video camera + projector, projecting an image of what was behind a guy in an all-white bodysuit (including cowl and mask) onto him, so from just one angle he seemed to vanish. It was so ridiculous I just had to laugh, imagining some guy walking around with a ring of cameras and projectors around him..suree, he might not be visible, but who could miss the apparatus moving around seemingly on its own?

Mistoffeles, I think I've seen a more recent version of that, using very small cameras and mirrors put at certain angles. In effect, the bloke wearing the suit wasn't invisible, but camoflauged to an amazing degree. The only way to see him was when he moved the image distorted slightly, but when he stopped he simply dissappeared.

So, if they start now, how many years before we all laugh at the klingon for being technotards?
