Problem with WindowFX, Illustrator CS and Imageready

Transition Effects

Hi !

I recently bought Object Desktop and I finally worked it around to make it work in my computer (I reinstalled everything from scratch again).

But I still have problems when I set any transition effect when I minimize or restore the Illustrator CS window; each time the window is restored, the program closes itself and appears the "report problem" window. I had to set the windowFX to don't do any transistion (even simpler that plain-vanilla windows)to make it work.

Also ImageReady don't work if I load the application by double-clicking any file, it ony works if I load the image by switching from Phostoshop (buton at the bottom of the tools pallete).

Anyone knows if the WindowFX 2.89 beta already solves this or if there is any workaround to the problem ???

Which version of Window FX are you running? The earlier versions were incompatiable with Windowblinds 5.

Stardock Central says WindowFX 2.12.007
And yes, I saw the message about the WindowFX 2.5. The next upgrade I have available in Stardock Central is 2.89b (BETA), but 2.5 final is not available... did I miss that upgrade??.

Today I also found that the device manager window don't work properly with the WindowFX loaded, I had to right-click its taskbar button to set the transparency to make it appear.

I'm not a big fan of installing betas, but provided that the "stable" available version is not so stable, I will try the 2.89b to see what happens...

Just a comment: I like this stardock software, the computer looks great... but I hope that it doesn't renders my computer unusable !!
