Stuck in moderation?

according to a comment in the mod que regarding this blind, the 'all programs' area is black on wb4.6. i use wb5, so i can't attest to this "feature". i'll assume that once other mods who use wb4.6 can check the skin, it may or may not be approved. if it isn't, you'll be notified, i'm sure. the person who left the comment stated that it may be his machine, so you'll have to wait until others using wb4.6 can check. in addition, be patient. the moderators are volunteers and there is a holiday weekend going on.

Usually if someone says its compatible with earlier versions, that says to me that it will work and a black all programs menu isn't saying that.  If it would have said for wb5 only, it would have slid right threw.

Thanks for your reply I haven't tested it on wb4.6 I just assumed having non per pixel borders that it would work I'm still a bit green on these matters, thanks again peeps.

Hey don't feel bad...I have one stuck there as well and I have journeyman status which should bypass moderation.

didn't mean to upset anyone I was just interested as the dock was uploaded after the blind, again thanks for your first reply WOM maybe I should have deleted the post after I new what was happening and why it didn't just slip through

Well mine are still in moderation lol That makes 9 days for one, 6 for another and 4 for the other. The other two just got submitted today.

screenshots must have different moderation standards than the rest. it took an hour for the screenshot to get accepted but the rest is still waiting..

Yes, I pass those threw when I see them.  As long as the are not porn and have part of the wall covered they go threw.  The other stuff other than walls needs tested.

hehehe, mine's been in moderation awhile too, about 9 days too I think. No biggie tho it's kind of a complex skin. Maybe the admins need a break....lol. quit hitting the damn snooooooze button! Time for skewl...hahaha. I feel bad if their volenteers tho, that's gotta blow. All that work jeez. My hat's off to ya dudes Take care.

I'm already having a break. While ever the site is running slow and I can't get into things easily the moderation queue will just get bigger and bigger. I spend my idle hours doing other things

NightWingDragon Thought your name looked familiar. You have a WB skin in moderation which has a broken preview image. I sent you an e-mail on 14th May requesting you update the image but you have not responded. Do you not read your e-mails or is WinCustomize in your spam list? Anyway, I was getting close to deleting it...

Okay, if a skin is missing from your awaiting moderation and you have not recieved an acceptance or rejection email and it's not in the gallery of it's type, should one assume it was rejected? I would like to know why, if this is the case, so I can fix it and try again. And no, Wincustomize does not go to my spam folder.

Usually you get some sort of notification... Sometimes it is not clear as to the "why" but you are told if your work was accepted or rejected...

Sometimes it gets rejected after it was accepted..LoL.. and you are usually told *exactly why..

If you havent gotten a notification of some sort Email one of the mod's..they usually will get an answer to you pretty quik!

Assume it was rejected especially if it was a screenshot.

It was not a screenshot. I am sorry I keep coming back to it, but recently it has been going down hill here and *while* I understand why to a degree, it is none-the-less frustrating. Skins in que for 10 days, one dissapears with no sign or word... *sigh* Okay, so I am going to re-submit it and see if I get an email this time.

Actually I tend to delete uploads that have issues with previews...so there is no confusion as to whether the fault has been communicated.

Send an email re the error...then delete it so it's no longer on the skinner's list [even pending]...
