How old are you?

How old are you?

I found some very interesting posts and observations on this forum.

I'm curious how old are the people hanging here and playing this game.

27 right here...

Peace!

38 but i was 36 when this post started.

Kinda funny that all those first posters are now almost 2 years older. I wonder how many are still around the forums.

27 for me. Not to brag for all of us, but I think this game attracts the intelligent. The maturity level of this forum is much, much higher than say the WOW general forums...

@stanley tarrant: completely agree; but I think its also the nature of TBS, you need to have a certain amount of critical thinking skills to just be able to play

35, I guess I missed this thread the first few times as I was lurking.

My first computer was a Tandy-1000, if you don't count the Atari 2600. When my parents got me the computer I was so disappointed it wasn't a Commadore 64.

I just recently got a third computer for my kids, mainly so they don't mess up my machine.

My 11 year old (girl) is already playing GC2, SoaSE, and Guild Wars. Along with board games; Samari Swords, Axis & Allies, Warrior Knights and even D & D. My wife says I've nerd-a-fied her.  ;p

17. Still clinging on to childhood. I'm sure my parents will tell me I'm to old for computer games as soon as I turn 18

Hehe, if that were the case, I'd be in big trouble at 48. I was 46 in my first reply to this thread (#87). This one may now have the record for the oldest active thread.

ST..For a glimpse of how immature a forum can be check out the Rise of Nations forums, if it is still up. I used to be on there but the amount of flaming and inane IM chat being used ruined the place for me. The devs were of little help as well.

This forum, though it has seen its fair share of flamers, whiners and just plain nuisances, is easily the most mature and intelligent game forum around.

Still going strong too which is good to see.....

14, and I can tell you I feel pretty immature on these forums. Regardless, it's a welcome feeling.

And this is a good opportunity to invite all old fogies to join the Gerontocracy, an empire intended for the eldest among us.
