Medal system not working

Im new to the metaverse and iv only played two games. They where both on normal difficulty but it says iv only plaued on cakewalk difficulty. Why?

Speaking of which, I'm wondering why my medals aren't showing in forum posts... (I can see them in my Metaverse profile)

I've played 9 games on challenging difficulty and 1 game on Normal and it lists the skill as normal. I've never used cheat codes of any sort.

Is that the Pond Scum alignment thing? If so that's sad cause my game got cheater flagged when I didn't use any cheats.

Tell me about it. I've submitted 5 tough scores and 2 on challenging and it gives me a "challenging" medal. I wonder if it's still going to do that after 100 tough games? God forbid I ever submit a "normal" score...

Ion,

Please upgrade your version of software to the beta OR clear out your pref.ini file, delete all of your saved games, saved races, saved ships etc etc out or my games subdirectory under my documents. Than go and start a fresh MV game using a standard race, not a custom race. Do not under any circumstances reload a saved game while you are working in version 1.11, this issue with all reloads of that version causes a cheat detect has been fixed in the latest release of the current beta, so a really easy fix would be updating to this beta, but if you insist on staying there DO NOT RELOAD a saved game. You must play the game through to the end without loading the game.

Your scores look typical of games I have seen, and in my mind at least you most likely are only guilty of loading a saved game for whatever reason (even if it was to grab that extra planet ), however, 1.11 looks at that loaded game as an attempt by you to "double" or "triple" or "quadruple" your abilities (this happened in a much older version of the game) by doing a reload.

In my opinion (which is never humble) Your best bet right now, is to simply erasse your scores, update your copy of GC2 to the current Beta and start a new game.
