Desktop icons won't stay put

I just installed object desktop and am having a slight problem with windows FX. I am using large, 48x48 icons and every time I start my computer the desktop icons are all grouped on the left again. I group them a certain way on my desktop and having FX rearrange them every time I power up my computer is slightly annoying. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this? I have FX starting with windows. Windows XP, Windows FX 3.0

Thanks

I started playing around with iconX and seem to have gotten it taken care of. Thanks anyway.

I'm having the same problem and don't want to use IconX because my resources are already taxed to the max just running WindowsFX

I've been annoyed by my icons being re-arranged many times, and i've finally found a solution to help you guys.

There are many 3rd party "icon savers" that you can find a t websites like Download.com but I use one called Power Strip by Entech ( http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm">Link ) . Once you simply load up the program in your taskbar, you can right-click the icon and "save icon positions" or "restore" them by using the menu.

It's worked for me, it's wodnerful! Note that you can also tweak many other things like your color / contrast, etc with that tool.

*EDIT* Sorry, that link is a little messed up but WinCustomize can't convert it to HTML right after posting... so i have to edit it every time
