CursorXP not working with 1 user on family computer

Hello All,

We have one computer we use for myself and 2 daughters. CursorXP works great on my user and one of my girls, but everytime the other child gets onto her user CursorXP crashes and she ends up with no cursor at all. We have tried disabling the program for just her user, but everytime she logs back into her account it has defaulted to CursorXP which then again shuts down. She is fed up with trying to find the windows cursors to use while working with no cursor, HELP!

I have had trouble with some cursors causing a crash - one was just way too huge

in this folder, you will/may/should find the current theme for the daughter with the crashes. Try either deleting it or replacing it with a copy from one of the users that's working.

C:\Documents and Settings\problemchild\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\CursorXP

Thank you for the reply, but unfortunately it didn't work. I uninstalled then reinstalled CursorXP without loading any new cursors into it. Mine and the one girls user accounts worked great and would allow us to configure the program. The other girls user gave us the "CursorXP has encountered a problem and must close" error message again, so it's not even loading all the way. Something I did notice while looking in her CursorXP folder on her user, it seems like not all the components of the program are loaded, yet when I loaded this, I made sure it could be shared by all users. I tried copying the files of the program from my user but it still shuts down. This is very aggravating!!!

interesting.

they have the same permissions?

you could try creating another account and see if it works there. if so, then just copy her stuff to the new account, make it hers and delete the other.

her CursorXP folder on her user

if you're referring to the path I posted, the only thing in the folder should the current theme for that user. On mine, CXP is installed in all users.
