I think I am dying...

or maybe is a virus....

I think I am dying. Okay maybe not dying, But I know I am sick. Instead of being smart and going to the doctor, I keep getting sicker. I have been having random bleeding all day, from my nose, my mouth and my ears. I think this can't be good. I don't really have a cough, but when I do cough, I cough up blood. This also can not be good. Also a freaky lump keeps growing on my jaw. I am convinced I have a tumor. Not good. (although a little hypochondriac) I also keep bruising horribly, I got asked if my husband hits me.(he doesn't). None of these things are so called "healthy"
But the Doctors office freaks me out. I have been sick for over a week, hoping I will get better, but I only get worse. Again~ Not good!

I hate going to the Dr. Because every time they have bad news. Last year it was " You have Celiac disease, there is no cure, sorry, oh by the way you may never have children because of it." I hate when you go to get somthing checked out, and the waiting for the results that tell you if you have a serious disease or nothing. Is there no in between?

Well damn I guess I will just pay the ton of money to have them run a bunch of tests to tell you nothing..... or maybe tell me I am dying... Either way I should find out.

If it's any consolation, I hope you don't die.

umm... I'm not doctor, but if you have random bleeding from the above mentioned places, I think you need to get it checked out... you are correct when you state that it is not good...

your husband's not insisting that you go?

Go to the doctor. It probably is very serious. But it may also be curable. Pray before you go. Take someone with you. Just in case pack a suitcase. I suspect they will admit you.

Imajinit- He works a lot, he doesnt really knoe. I unfortunatly try and hide the fact I am sick from him. He gets freaked out.

Sherye- Ahhh! I am already kinda nervous! I will call the Dr. tommrow though, and see if I can get in. They better not admit me, I hate hospitals. *shudder*

I am sure now that my hubby will read this I will be forced to go anyway, I might as well go on my own will.

I think you should see a doctor ASAP. I know it's scary. And can be very frustrating. But at least this way there is a good chance you can remedy the problem, before it gets any worse. And I really do wish you the very best of luck, and would like to hear more about the results after your first doctor's visit. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you...

I will go! Geez... I didn't know so many people cared..... So thank you for caring.
I am calling to make an appointment today.
I did call my pharmasist though he think it might just be a bad reaction to increased meds, but I will still go to the doctor.

Muggaz- I would never joke about health, it is valuable...

janders-
I used to feel the same way,---I didn't even have a docotor-- and to my detriment. One year I ended up with pneumonia and was I ever sick!!!!! for months!!!!!!!!! After that I thought "I never want to be this sick again" and the only thing I could think of to do was to get one and see her when I was sick.
Now that I look back, I realize how backward my thinking was. I was blaming the doctor for doing her job--like shooting the messenger because you don't like the message.
This year--I have not needed to see her at all, and that is because I have been healthy--

Jo Lynda Rose...

This is why I worry about you!! Why didn't you talk to me last night about this? It sounds to me like you are animic (spelling again??) you know low red blood cells. When I was that way I had bleeding from my mouth and nose also, bruised easily, but never my ears. I know you worry with the celiac causing lymphomia. As Dr. Mom I think you have a virus, and given the celiac and your meds you are really run down. Don't forget that you can tell me anything and I am there for you. I worry more about what I don't know about you and only imagine then when you tell me stuff.

Get your ass to a doctor NOW!!!!!!

Sounds like anemia to me (which I have experienced).  Do you take an iron supplement (if allowed with whatever meds you take).  I would talk to your doctor right away.  Anemia is not something to mess with.  Even if you get a minor injury, you could bleed uncontrollably.  Also, have the lump checked out.  It could be nothing or something simple like an infected gland.  It could also be something more serious that can be treated if caught early enough.  There is no reason to not go, but there are a lot of reason *to* go (namely- your family)

Oh, eat some red meat and broccoli while you're waiting

I'm glad your making an appointment. Nobody really likes going to the doctor, but things can only get better from going, they can't get worse. Hopefully it's something small they can take care of quickly. Feel better :)

I am a procrastinator of the worst sort when it comes to doctors, but it really sounds like you need to see one ASAP. Hopefully it will be something that will be easy to fix, and you can be back to yourself in no time.

All right.... Called the doctor...and talked to a nurse, I have an appointment first thing tommorow morning

Nurse said that I am probably anemic..which is common for someone who is underweight and has celiac, they will run tests tommorow. The bleeding from mouth, cough and nose is a sign or symptom(i dont know which) of anemia.
As far as the ears go the bleeding is not normal, although because the ear bleeding was very small, could be ruptured eardrum(unlikely as I can hear fine) or a small cut in eat canal. (more likley)
They will also check out the lump, as it is getting painful.

Thank you for all the concern, but I am not as sick as I sound, In fact I seem to only has the nose bleed today.

To mom~ I never tell you cause you worry...... you have enough going on, I dont want you to worry about me too. I will be okay, I am going to the dr and everything will be fine. Hakuna Matata!

don't pray before you go...that would waste time. GO TO THE DOCTOR! Any time you have bleeding from the ears, you should see a well-equipped doctor pronto. Skip urgent care, skip the family practice, and go to the emergency room. Unless your family practice or local urgent care has much, mucho, equipment, they are going to refer you out to the ER or a lab in the area. You may need an MRI, CAT, etc.

Bleeding from the ears can be serious, that it co-presents with bleeding from mouth and nose is not good, either. Seek medical attention.

Good Heavens what a terrifying account of a medical condition. I'd be afraid if I were bleeding.

Keep up that iron intake! Maybe run down to the hardware store and get some nails to suck on while you're watching television. If that's not your cup of tea, Geritol, broccoli, spinach, or a steak would be good.

I hope that you feel better.
