How do you take a screen shot ?

How do you take a shot, so that it can be posted?
I have tried 'print screen ' It does nothing.

Same for me.

I suspect this my keyboard who got a problem.

With thoses chinese made multilingual (english/french canadian) it is something you can expect !! lol

so, once you hit print screen & open a graphics editor (like paint) and choose: edit > paste - nothing happens?

Err... prntscreen is basically a copy for the screen. You have to paste it into an image editor (paint will do), then upload the file to an image hosting website, then provide the link from the generated address to the site.

Where does the copy end up?
There is no option to paste, infact, nothing.
I cannot find it anywhere.

It's an auto copy and is on the comp. Paste it into paint, then save it.

IT DOES NOT MAKE A FILE.

Irfanview works well too. Lets you take multiple shots and saves them for you.
