The Kingdom of Dodorian Federations

In the year 1598 the Portuguese sailors landed on the shores of Mauritius, finding there an unknown species of bird, the Dodo. These sailors described the Dodo as a dumb and extremely stupid bird. While that may have been true of most of the Dodo population, Darius Dodo, the leader of the Dodos was an extremely intelligent bird.
Knowing that their days on earth were numbered Darius decided that they would need to relocate, but where to?
Then out of space an Iconian sleeper pod crashed on the island creating a mighty uproar in the Dodo population. Darius, quickly figuring out what this sleeper pod could mean, decided to bury the dead Iconians, and gathered around as many of his kin as could fit in the sleeper pod. Then in the year 1632 they set off into the unknown galaxy.
Through the long and often hazardous journey the Dodos reflected upon the slaughter inflicted by the Portuguese sailors. Slowly their minds were twisted into evil. Through their long journey they passed through the Qwarton anomaly which bestowed high intelligence upon the Dodos
Then in the year 2165 they landed on what is now known as Dodorian IV, in the Dodorian Star System. They rapidly began to form an evil civilization called “The Kingdom of Dodorian Federations”. Considering that government and politics was not their strong point, the reference to both kingdom and federations must be forgiven. Indeed it was a collection of federations paying homage to a single king, though in time the federations integrated into a single kingdom.
The kings of the Dododian Kingdom are direct descendants of Darius Dodo the Great who saved his population from extinction. The king of the Dodorians is called King Dodo.
Then as most races acquired HyperDrive from the reckless humans a Drengin scout ship equipped with hyperdrive crashed on Dodorian IV. The Dodos quickly figured out hyperdrive and managed to reproduce it.
And that is their story so far.
