IMPORTANT! - Running v1.1 on a PC without internet connection?

Seems I cant play anymore :(

After I downloaded the patch on this PC, I transferred it to my own PC (the family one with the net connection cant run it). However my PC doesn't have an internet connection so when it asks for my email and serial number, I type it in and click activate, but obviously with no connection the program has no way to verify it so the game can't start.

Is this a horrible oversight or is there away to get around this and playthe updated game?

You have to do it by email. When you try to send it, it will ask you if you want to Verify via email. Say yes and Copy and paste info and bring it to your other machine. Send it via email and after awhile (who knows how long last time for me it was 10 mins, this time its been over hour and still not yet) they will send you a Sig.bin file to put into your GC2 directory (so yes you will need something to use to transfer file, disk or USB storage or something)

This system to me is worse then just having regular Disk Protection. At least with the Regular protection I can play the game, this method I lose a night of playing. Sad.

I never got an answer to the activation email. It has been two days.
