Earth 2150...2160?

I've noticed Earth 2150's trilogy on Stardock Central, but not 2160. How come?

Unfortunately TopWare signed an exclusive contract for Earth 2160 with another company, so we're not able to carry it.

Its on Steam, if you're interested. Steam gets a lot of bad press, but the truth is, if you bother to set it up for offline mode and /or you have a fast connection, its not actually all that intrusive. You run it when you need it, and thats it. Its more annoying than SDC, because with SDC you only need it for updating and suchlike, whereas with Steam you need it to run any games you bought over it, but its nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be. Certainly I prefer Steam to systems like StarForce.

Earth 2160 in my opinion is worth its weight in bat droppings, its an afront to the long running series of games. Not anywhere near as forfilling as Earth 2150.

On the topic of Steam, I've always thought Steam was "okay", but lately it's just been getting silly. I've preordered and loaded HL2:EP1, but it seems to get awfully confused between a preload and an update when both happen at the same time.

After updating HL2:DM at the same time as grabbing a preload, Steam declared "Half Life 2 Deathmatch is no longer being offered for free" when I tried to run it. I'm sorry, what was that? Reload Steam and it seemed happier.

Some very strange glitches, that software...

It's 300 hours of gameplay for $9.99. That's about 3 cents an hour.
