Changing logo midgame

Hello everbody,
Long time reader, first time writer.
I'm from Holland, so don't mind the spelling.
First of all of course, my hat of to the developers for creating a great game.
And sure there are some glitches, but hey, the support is one for the books.
The only question I have so far is: Can you change youre race-logo midgame ?
It just so happens that a race with the same logo colonized a planet in one of my starsystems, and I don't want them sneaking in just because i'm not paying enough attention to every little starsystem.
I'm playing a customrace, and changing the logo-thingy in the customrace-config doesn't work.
It's probably a savegame isue, I think.
So, is there a way ?
