Meatverse scoring question

Ok so I am clearly not understanding how this scoring thing works.
First off I am not using 1.1 I am still in the dark ages with the last official release.
This is the list of the only two games I've posted to the metaverse:

Now my first question is this, Why does it tell me in the game that my average score is 36512 when NEITHER of my scores are as high as that number? What am I missing?
Secondly I am looking for pointers on getting my score higher. From all the scores I have looked at size of galazy and even a harder difficulty level don't seem to get you a significantly higher score. So aside from playing 210 years how does one get the score higher?
