How to play a game someone else has played??

I'm sure I missed it 'cause I thought the point of metaverse was to be able for people to play each other's games. When I go to a user's account page to see their detail, I can see the result of the games they've played, but I can't figure out how to play that game (but with my race perhaps?) and retain all their settings.

So I guess the metaverse is simply a glorified score sheet where you can track the games you have played?

IMO, if metaverse is going to live up to it's rep, it needs to have ability to track the game I played, with specific conditions and others can play it with the same exact conditions with exception they can use their own race.

Otherwise, your score & my score are just apples and oranges.

At the moment it's simply a board presenting your score.
Some days ago someone said there are thoughs about storing a replay in the metaverse, too.
BUT: I don't remember if it was an offical post, and I don't know when this should be done. I guess the current metaverse is the first start and it will be improved in the one or other way.

It's always been a scoreboard. There was talk of putting in a play-by-email sort of dealy with an expansion pack that would be integrated into the Metaverse, but I've heard nothing about it since then.
