Where do i sabe and how do i use the ship mods?

Ships are located in either My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\Metaverse\ships for metaverse games or \My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\ships for regular games.

Just put the ship files (there are two types for each ship - an .xml file and a shipcfg file) in the folder. You may want to back up the contents first if there are any there.
