Comments: After Hours of research, hours of placing planets and XML editing, and hours of debugging the map, I present you with the COOLEST MAP EVER! What ever you do, DO NOT LOOK PAST THE BOX OF STARS! I put them there to keep your vision from seeing the things in the corner, if you do your game will CRASH! If you don't believe me, TRY IT. I hope you have fun playing this map! I know it may not be realistic, but if I could specify textures for planets in the map file, I would, but I cannot. So you are stuck with the random textures it gives you.
To play this map, download it and place it in the Data/Custom maps folder in your GalCiv2 directory.
To play the game properly, YOU must be a CUSTOM race, and you must have ONE other player, the DRENGIN!

Well of course if you say that it's going to be the first thing I try.

But sadly, the game didn't crash. All there was was a sun. Well, a sun if you didn't go by your other instructions and chose a non-custom race. Otherwise there was a whole bunch of invisible suns. But still no crash

Really? It allways crashed for me. So I threw them in a corner around a wall so my explorer ships wouldn't see it an crash. But yeah. Did it still work even though you chose a non custom race? Did you spawn on a random planet?

I've seen reports about the game crashing when you view the corner of the map or something like that. It might not be related to this map specificly.

Well, First I tried it by playing as a non-custom versus non-drengin. I ended up on pluto and the opponent ended up on earth .

When I played as non-custom vs drenging. I was on earth but a few of the planets had the wrong name. In particular, the sun was called 'Sol' and the two closest planets where 'Sol 1' and 'Sol 2'. I thought it was odd that you missed Murcury and Venus I then played as custom and saw what happened. When you choose another race it changes your custom solar system with one of the generic ones. So not as fun.

Also me being on earth in that case may of just been coincidence, possibly another game would've found me on some other planet.
