Who decides which wallpapers are accepted?

Just curious..... because I don't have much luck anymore......

It's generally a concensus of opinion....on average there'll be 3 or 4 critiques by admins/moderators over the course of a day or two before one will ultimately make it/them public....or not, as the case may be....

I'm a bit stumped. My last wallpaper submission was rejected. I thought it was better than some other ones of mine that got accepted... Can I get at least a comment or two as to why it was rejected? I'm not looking for a general comment i.e. "we thought it would not make a great wallpaper" - that's way too general and does not help someone to stop making same/similar mistakes going forward. I think it also creates more work for the moderators and can get frustrating for both sides resulting in either premature dismissal of someone's work or a member giving up and quitting supporting the site. Seems that some topics get rejected more frequently than others such as sports, CG and the likes. So moderators, help me make your job easier Thanks!

I am currently doing the primary moderation on the Wallpaper queue.  What wall of yours specifically was rejected?  I saw one by you earlier today that I actually approved (the ansel adams-ish one).

Zoomba, that is the one that got rejected. Now I see that it has been approved and posted. Thank You Btw, in a recent past I believe it was you who provided brief but specific feedback regarding content that was rejected. I was able to make the necessary changes and as far as I can tell I did not make that same mistake since I value such feedback because it helps to either make technical or artistic improvements, allowing for content submissions that meet the quality bar and reducing tons of "noise" that you guys must go through a lot in a day. Again, thank you.
