Custom Ships Copying?!

Ok guys, I'll make this short and to the point. First, I haven't updated that game at all, just now downloading the collector's edition stuff but I haven't had much problems just some random crashes when saving custom ships or just playing the game. What happens is I create a custom ship, save it, and build a few. I save the game and and reload it, the game copies the ship design and makes a second one so when I want to build or update a ship it shows say two galaxy class designs, both the same just two of them after I reloaded my game. I tryed going into the shipyard to delete the copyed verison but it just shows the normal verison and not the copyed verison of the Galaxy Class design. Anybody got any ideas how to help? (PS I went through the posts about known issues but after a hour of going through one post and only half way it got annoying)
