mods

ok so i have a question. when you submit mods either actual mods or just pictures and logos, it goes to a pending status and eventually goes to approved or rejected, why do some get rejected, any reason then the obvious, they dont work reason? and who checks them to see? are there stardock people who just check those mods to see if they work and if they should be approved? or is it someone like brad who is doing stuff on the forums, working on the game, and checking the mods, jumping all over from one thing to another. because some things get accepted rather quickly and others take longer, ( i realize part of it is the size, and what is involved with the mod) i was just curious, if anybody knows anything about the creating and approving of mods leave a comment. love to hear from stardock how they actually go about doing things. thanks

Couple of questions along this theme myself, if anyone would answer them, I'd appreciate it.

1) How/where do you go about submitting "mods"? (I put mods in quotation marks as all the modding I'll be doing is making portraits and logos I've downloaded from the internet the appropriate size and file type, and making some minor adjustments so that they look how they should in game (ie. starfield in background; etc.)

2) What's the protocol on posting images I haven't created myself but only modified so that they work in game? (i.e Star Wars pics/logos, other artwork created by other people that I've seen and thought would look good ingame)?

Just curious. As I've got some cool stuff I think others might like, but take absolutely no credit for any of it. Like I said, all I did was fix it so it worked ingame.

Any ideas/suggestions? Is this a good idea?

first off i think the logos and everything need to be saved as png's not sure if it matters or not. if you want to submit something go to the "library" section of the site and in the upper right corner there should be 2 buttons add mod and my mods. hit add mod and it gives you directions
