Yes, it is very sad and telling! We hear constant railings and revilings, even the rending of clothing and the sackcloth and ashes bit, from the liberal lunatic fringe about how downtrodden minorities and non-Christians are.

"Those poor Arabs, being racially profiled by the thousands in the airports of our great country," they say.

And yet, for political advantage or maybe even as a show of true colors, when this Dubai ports deal came to light, suddenly all Arabs are our enemies.

So Schumer, Feingold, H. Clinton, and all those who took umbrage with the DPW deal can be labeled as bigots and racists. When they spend much of their time and most of their political influence supposedly sticking up for racial tolerance and against bigotry.

Schumer has truly shown himself as having become what he claims to despise, indeed.

Just a question: I saw a news report where George W. Bush was meeting with some representatives of the Muslim community. The first words our of his mouth were 'God bless you all'. I thought it was most inappropriate, given the company he was sharing. I'm I over-reacting?

God's blessing is acceptable to muslims.  They do beleive in the Judeo-Christian god after all.

I didn't think Muslims believed in the Christian version of God, but that they acknowledged Jesus as a contemporary of Mohammad. Please, if anyone can shed any further light on this, I'd appreciate it.
