More Update Sugestions

The one improvement that I'd most Like to see (for now anyway) would be a revamp of the building queue, I would like it to have a list of categories, say; industry, research, economy, influence, agriculture, and special. In each catergory you would have all the buildings of that type so that you could choose a lesser form for construction. I know that when I get a planet late in the game I often have to choose from investing a stagering 5,000 bc to buy the first factory complex, or wait 100 turns, both of which simply mean that the planet isn't worth the effort in anything smaller than a huge map.

I have a related querry.When the game auto updates the buildings and I want to cancel it but I can't!.
This is annoying because :

1.It was an invaded planet and his tech level was low > crappy factories.
2.it was updating the entertainment facility 100/200 turns.

I wanted to have a factory first but it seems I couldn't alter the update.

you can cancel an upgrade by highlighting it and clicking the x at the top of the build queue. Alternately, you can move things around too. Push that entertaintment facility to the bottom of the list. You don't lose anything already applied to it that way.

Reading the article about the differences between CalCiv I and GalCiv II as well as all the comments was great!

Some features which would be awesome (most are inspired by the comments):

*Individual tech trees (with individual names as well as differences on what technologies give what) for each race
*Individual music
*Tech stories, explaining who invented the tech and such like in GalCiv I
*Political options such as assasinating the leader of the opposition and building alliances with the heir to the throne of another empire thus plotting to overthrow the current leader.

A last feature which probably would be really easy to implement is changing "weeks" to "week" when there is 1 week left of production or tech or whatever. (This is based solely on the screenshots)
