Don't Use CTRL+N when playing a metaverse game

Don't use CTRL+N when playing a metaverse game, because it doesn't create another metaverse game, so when you finish, it won't bring up the submit dialog.

This will be fixed in 1.1.

Well, that's all well and good. Anyone know how to get through proxies so that I CAN log on to the Metaverse?

It does? I use it all the time, It has to be specific to certain hardware setups.

I just loaded up a metaverse game in which I had used CTRL+N and hit the retire button, it still asked me if I wanted to submit my score to the metaverse.

Yes, you just have to log back in at the end of the game when it asks you to do so.

It worked just fine for me, but it considered the game to be "normal" when it was a few notches up. (felt robbed)
Either I screwed up, or it defaults to a new normal game. Just in case, I'm not going to risk it next time.

I both used ctrl + n and got "retired" by my fiance when she needed to use the computer. She felt so bad when she saw that "You've been defeated" screen I just had to milk it for all its worth Good thing I had a save game handy cause that was my first military conquest on tough

Go to the edit my characters page under the acount tab and click the default button.

Well, it doesn't always work, then, because I've had it not work for me.


I have had the Metaverse not ask me to post the score after I finished a metaverse game. It may have just been a different bug. *I have only played two metaverse games, and the first one didn't even allow me to post the score *

ctrl-n works fine for me, but I wish it wasn't too good not to use for metaverse play.

I use CTRL N but then it goes back to the metaverse login screen and I have to suffer through the race, galaxy an AI selection all over again while for normal games I do not.

I just completed a Tough game on Gigantic.

I was not offered a chance to post it. Yes. It was set up as a Metaverse game.

Very annoying after all that time and effort.

Failing to send to the metaverse seems more to be a random act then a ctrl+n issue. I've had two first setups, and 1 ctrl+n games fail to send.

I do have to say, I don't much like the setups and just HAVE TO hit ctrl-n 3 or 4 times at least, sometimes more sometimes less.

That doesn't make any sense. But my metals have disappeared in between playing two games. So let's see if that restores them.
