Wow - what a response! I just want to say, that is one paragraph out of a 250 page book, and while i respect your decisions and belief's on the topic, i was just saying that i read a book. I'm sorry if it offended anyone. This almost scares me to blog now. I would never had the guts to reply like that, and if i did, i wouldn't be here. thanks.

Well, you got me over there to read the original article and comments. I was expecting 50 messages haranguing Christianity and belittling you. Instead I find four messages, most of which seem to be by Christians. Let's excerpt this:

"I believe the point of the article is true..."
"Jesus came, and then all people were the chosen people, gentiles or Jews, RIch or Poor."
"...take the TIME to find out more about people? If we loved them like Jesus does, we would."

So, people were, on the whole, agreeing with the premise of the book excerpt and at the same time simply stating their further beliefs on the topics. Those were very tame comments. Why would you think people were offended? Why would you be afraid to blog?

Be bold. "There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ." So why worry even if it had been negative (which it wasn't)? Blog on!
