It's really very simple, George is the epitome of everything the far left hates.

George is Pro-American the far left is NOT!

George is for traditional values, the Far left hates traditional values and is looking to turn America into Europe.

George keeps his word, the left has no word to keep.

George believes marriage is between a man and women, the left believes it's between a man and child, two women or two men, soon to come, man and his horse.

George is faithful to his friends, the left has no friends, only sycophants.

Maybe some more comparisons from the members of the right can be added?

I wonder why many anti-gay marriage people always add that as an argument.

It's like this... 2 computer technicians discuss how to add more ram to server. Third computer technician comes in and suggests this: "Hey how about using more hard drives?" It's completely unrelated.

When I am talking about right of marriage, I'm talking about two consenting adults. Yes, two, one more than 1 and 1 less than 3, in case people's confused this with marriage between more than couple of people argument. Not children. Not non-homo sapiens sapiens.

The concept may be alien to you, but gay people is consenting ADULTS.

yes they are and I have no problem with what they do in the privacy of their own homes, I do have a problem with a small minority of people trying to over turn centuries old definitions of marriage and ram their view down my throat.

You didn't answer the question. How are they forcing YOU to accept it? They just want to get married, what does it have to do with you? Are they proposing a law that requires YOU to give them a wedding gift or something?

I don't see bestiality coming as a side effect of "consenting adults", because bestiality is practiced anyway, and I don't think it would ever be legitimized.
What I do see is polygamy, polygyny, and communal marriages... thus corrupting and overturning the idea of "marriage" for the lesser standard of "consenting adults".


I agree that man and dog living together as man and um mate, MIGHT not happen today, opening the door for other forms of marriage just might be the beginning, truly dog will be mans best friend. heh heh heh

Tax breaks for married couples, insurance rates, government benefits, etc., effect us all, given we all pay for them. Another great, unquestionable "truth" imposed by courts forcing states to bow to the Federal will effects us all. Dealing with the legal woes and torn children of even more broken marriages effects us all.

Marriage is already a joke in the US. Gay "marriage" will just make it more of a joke by adding to the already sad number of heterosexuals that have no respect for the institution.

The term "traditional values" is misleading. The Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints has a "tradition" of polygamy. See Link Are we to assume that President Bush supports it? Why has the Federal Government leveled charges against Warren Jeffs, head of that church, simply because he insists on practicing the tradition of marrying young girls to older men, a tradition supported by the Bible?

Frankly, I think we need to return to the "tradional value" of being able to have sex with our wives' handmaidens. If it was good enough for Abraham....

A last comment on the lighter side. Moderateman, my friend, I would avoid the phrase "rammed down my throat" when discussing gay marriage. It is, shall I say, distasteful.

Any place besides MASS? "Most" of what has been reported is the other way around. States adopting resolutions banning gay marriage and then being told by the supreme court (federal) that it's unconstitutional to do that. And that is "forcing a state to bow to federal will".
