Shipbuilder Questions

Hello,
I have a few questions about the shipbuilder.

1> Is there a way to flip a direction arrow around without also changing the top/bottom axis? Right now if I use the flip arrow Generic item, it makes any attachment go on the opposite side of the arrow than it originally was. This occurs even if I use two of the 90 degree rotate modifiers as well. Currently to fix this, I use one of the flat disk attachments, but that makes my attachments look funny (they are attached to a disk instead of the hull of the ship.

2> Is there a way to get angles of less than 45 degrees? This is in relation to adding a wing or other object to the side of a hull. The hulls I've used so far have them verticle, straight out to the side (90 degrees) and in between it's a perfect 45 degrees. I was wondering if there is an attachment I missed that has more options (The flat disk seems to only have the same 45 degree options.

I have the 1.0X.2 patch and the collector's edition.

Thanks,
Brandon

You should get Kryo's Hull system mod that allows you to do a lot more things in the designer. According to this forum Link
you should be able to do the 45 degree angle changes with that mod. You can find the mod in the LIBRARY.

Last time I had this problem, I noticed that the "rotate -90" left the top of the hardpoint oriented in the same direction, while the +90 flipped the top of the hardpoint. The flip hardpoint option flips the top as well. So if you don't want to mess with mods and you want to keep the top the same, use the -90 modifier.

But I've been annoyed with similar problems, so I'm starting to look at the mods to see if there is one that will make it work better.
