Mods and the metaverse

Ran a search for the terms mods and metaverse and came up blank.

In GC1, if I remember right, most mods were allowed in the metaverse, because the AI made use of the mods also.

In GC2, what type of modding should I try to avoid if I want to post to metaverse?

I really love to mod... Path of Ascension and The Underdark Wars for NWN are my babies, did some stuff for Civ 3 and Civ 4.... I would love to do some modding here but I want to keep it metaverse friendly if possible

According to the latest consensus it does not matter what mods you add to the game. As soon as you click Metaverse game the game's mechanics will not use any mods and only a basic setup. This is not likely to change in the near future so you have two choices.. Mod your game and dont submit, or use an unmoddified game and submit your scores. It depends on what you feel is a good return for your time playing Fun and enjoyment, or a few points on a board!!

Needless to say all the guys in The Galactic Diplomats Empire are always free just to play and not submit. We dont give a hoot about Metaverse position, its playing and having fun that counts. Personally i am all for the mods and not submitting
