Milosevic has left the building

Just read that Slobodan Milosevic has died, apparently of natural causes (probably a heart attack) and in his sleep. He was discovered in his cell, found by a guard. Linked.

He was way ahead of his time in hating Muslims. Maybe the whole intervening in the Balkan War thing wasn't such a good idea after all, huh?

I hope you are joking, Rightwinger. He was a monster and my main beef with the International War Crimes Tribunal is that they were too much of an impotent pussy to torture him slowly to death. I think this is probably a fix and they probably just decided he could quietly retire somewhere and save their limp-wristed tribunal from actually having to grow a pair of balls.

I hope to God this is a bitterly ironic statement from you, and sorry if it is. This whole UAE thing is making me really wonder what a hateful bunch we are becoming. If it isn't, I'm really shocked and disappointed that you'd stoop to validating an evil man. "The Butcher of the Balkans" deserved a lot worse than a peaceful death in his sleep, even in a jail cell.

Yes, he was a monster and he DID deserve much more than what he got.
Although, you have to admit that he was way ahead of the curve when it came to dealing with Islamics.

That's if you believe that kind of thing, of course. I personally think that he's destined to be reborn as a Muslim who will have to live (and die) under the reign of an islam-hating tyrant - much as he was himself in this life.
