Can Not Break Alliance with Andians

They're my ally--now I want to crush them

Maybe a dumb question, but I became allies with the Andians and now I want to crush them. Problem is that I can not attack them without breaking my alliance with them and I can't seem to get that done. Need help...

You can also go to the relations tab and theres a tab there that says "break alliance"

Ah yes. Allying with a minor race. That's the one-step solution to a boring game where nobody tries to piss you off.

what you can do is persuade a civ you arent allied with to atack them and then refuse to support them afterwards that will break the alliance

Also had that problem. The only thing that you can do now is having another major power take them out.

I am also unable to put a trade embargo on minor races.

How do you form alliances? I've researched alliances but can't seem to work out how to actually ally with anyone.

You need "close" relations for alliances.
And yes, there's no direct way of leaving an alliance with a minor.
