WinStyles 'encounters a problem' when applying SUITE files...

...even the preinstalled SUITES

First post

The problem: I'm trying to install a SUITE for the first time.

Link

I have installed WindowBlinds, Winstyles, IconPackager, CursorXP, Bootskin and LogonStudio (It said LogonXP, could that be a problem.) The first time I went into WinStyles and tried to apply the .SUITE file (which is located in /Themes) it started downloading some stuff then halfway through 'Winstyles has encountered a problem and has to close'...

I removed all my current themes and customisations, uninstalled Winstyles and tried again. Instantly, 'Winstyles has encountered a problem and has to close'. I tried with a suite that was already installed and it looked promising, it downloaded everything and at the last minute, 'Winstyles has encountered a problem and has to close'.

Any idea what's going wrong ?

Thanks in advance!

Are you using WinStyles or Theme Mananager?

Ummm . . .I read it. But Winstyles went the way of the Dodo. Upgrade to ThemeManager https://www.stardock.com/products/thememanager/ and have fun.

Speaking of applying themes. I tried applying Scenic suite. Big mistake...it prevented access to suites via the dislay in control panel. I had to access theme manager from the start program. I have since removed Scenic from suites and now my system is back to normal. May have bugs or just be unstable. Same thing with Silver Glass. No theme at all...just a greyed out window. I know it's not windowblinds because I have no problem with any other themes. Just those two. Just thought you'd like to know.
