minor races

I'm pretty sure that you can ally with them in the same manner as you can ally with major civs. When your relations are "close" you can ask them to ally with you. With such relations it may also be possible to ask them to surrender to you. I've had that option before, but never decided to use it.

Ostsol is right, you need "close" relations with them befor you can ally with them. I did it with three minors last game.

This is abit off topic but still about the minor races, the page wont let me create a new topic for some odd reason.

Ive been playing galciv for some time now since the release, but i have yet to see all the minor races that several of the topics are about snathi ect ect so far i have only seen 2 of the minor races dark yor and one other (cant remember) these 2 is everytime i play on a gigantic map ( read that the minor races amount depends on ur map size) so is it just the other major races that wipes them out so fast that i can't even see them or is it something im missing here?

Wouldn't it be a barrel of laughs if you could follow a game after doing that? Surrender a singificant empire to a minor race and see where they go with it and if they can win.

No, I know about the option on my side of the diplomacy screen, but I've also seen it on their side.
