Metaverse Bug?

It wont work...

Having won a few games on intelligent now, I decided it might be good to get a metaverse character. Only problem is, whenever I go to add character, I fill in the information, and it goes to processing date... for about half an hour. Then it'll time out. The whole time the page ISN'T loading, because I can see the refresh button is active, and in my browser it's only active when a page is idle. I'm using the Opera browser, do I need to do it in Explorer or Firefox to get it to work?

I don't have Opera myself, but it works alright in FF and IE for me. Try it in one of those; it could be that Opera was not extensively tested since it is much less common than FF and IE.

I had problems with it in FF. I ended up setting my default character in IE to get the forum icons to work.

It appears that as of that brief restart of the forum earlier, all the icons disappeared again though. Resetting my default doesn't help.

Thanks, it seems to work in IE. Which is annoying, because once I've got used to Opera IE is like trying to get a '95 to work after getting used to the style of xp
