Completed my first Intelligent victory yesterday, and am very proud of myself, having not played any 4x games since civ1 
I've edited the custom race, so they are known as the Betelgeusian Empire, under the command of the Glorious Ford Prefect. But a few things I want to know:
1. How do I implement pictures into the game? I've edited the custom race, so I know how to put it into that bit, but will any old bmp or jpeg work?
2. Is it due to the fact that the race is edited that whenever the Terrans talk to me I get "Hail (yourracename)"
3. Why does everyone refer to me as human? At first I wasn't sure, but then I think the Arceans called me "earth creature" or something. Plus the whole yor "May your body odor be a musk for the opposite sex of your kind" (heh) which I've only seen on humans before.
And by the way, I know it's been mentioned before, but the cultural conquest video is classic. Drengins on beauty programs
