Know your flame warrior

Which one are you?

http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/index.htm

Oh we're all unique in how we behave on-line right? Or are we?

The Flame Warrior site is incredibly insightful and has been around a long time.  You would be surprised at how well many of us fit into one of these on-line personas.

For example, here on JoeUser or other Stardock sites I'm probably this:

The Admin

But on other forums, this is me:

Tireless Rebutter

Looking at many of the regulars we have all kinds of people here ranging from:

Of course, most people aren't flame warriors at all.  They're casual users.  Others are a mixture of the various types.  And still others are lurkers

You can check it out for yourself, which one do you think fits you best?

Have fun!

There was a lot to read throught but it was funny. I definately could put a few names with the flame warriors listed. I don't think I'm much of a flamer or a warrior but the ones that I thought might fit the most would be the coffee klatch or the cyber sisters.

Kind of makes me wish that I participated in some sort of flame-warring. ...Nah.

Harhar... around here, I am a lurker most of the time... but hell yeah,. it reminds me of a time when I was moderating... eh... some forum elsewhere.... At first, I was always the 'Diplomat'-guy... and without recognizing and knowing why, I (was?) turned into a godfather.
That was kinda creepy. And one of the reasons I quit.

Funny. I had a blog that had that link.

Hmm it's updated now. Few new ones.

This sight is hilarious and I see myself in many of the titles...just depends on what day!

I'm certainly a cyber-sister, and probably a coffee klatch as well.  It's hard for me to define myself; I think other people would be better at that.

I know I saw a LOT of JU-ers in those descriptions, though!

I shift between so many of those I don't think I could call myself any one in particular. They are darn apt, though.

Uh, you can put me in the moved on category - it's a lot more fun and profitable over at blogspot.com - better blogs, no rude owners calling names ... in general a better experience ... but thanks for the learning

Insightful.

I did not see an Assh*le catagory, so I guess I am not any of the proper named flamers. heh heh heh

Same here. I see several labels that fit, depending on my mood.

I need a schizophernia one or a multiple one for sure. More than one mode fits me though.

hehehehe

I think I'm 3 or 4 of the stereotypes, mostly a Big cat IMHO, several of those mentioned HAD to be formulated from JU bloggers.........

One thing about on-line communities, the names change but the characters remain the same.
