CIF, part III

They finally took it (fourth time's the charm!) so I don't have to buy a Gortex jacket. I wouldn't really want it, anyway. Don't get me wrong, they're nice, but soon enough I'll be switching to ACUs. SPC Gemstone pointed out that until the wear-out date for BDUs, you can pretty much mix-and-match ACU/BDU TA-50 and accessories. Just because it's in regs doesn't make it right.

I clear the unit on Monday, and may also Final Out then as well. Might save it for Tuesday; there are still a couple things left for me to do around the house.

Yeah ...you are going to Goodfellow, right? Well, if it is the same there as it is here....you will see a lot of mixing and matching of ACU and BDU items. Quite frankly, its annoying. I thought it was out of reg until I did a little research. TRADOC is crawling with IETers who are wearing desert boots with BDUs along with the tan shirt and belt made for the ACUs. Every once in a while, you will catch aN NCO or an officer doing the same thing, which irritates the life out of me.

And one more thing, I assume you are going to my BN, you need to call me so we can discuss some things. You may be in for a shock or two. All I can say, is welcome to the BDE. I am sure SSG Geezer has filled you in on most things though, so maybe you wont have to call me. Have fun clearing everything and good luck!!!

the one that we pwn3d all the time whenever they held their tournaments... I always forget that place....oh man... I just remembered another place there...

That comic shop/game store (and all the others, too, it seems) are out of business. No place to play, no place to get my weekly comic fix (locally). Ah, well.
