Anomalous Scores Removed

from GalCiv2 Forums

Hey all,

Some of you were having problems where your scores were showing up as anomalous when they were submitted to the metaverse.  This was caused by a bug in GC2 that was causing racial abilities to double every time you went to the race customization screen.  So, we have deleted these anomalous scores from the database so that they won't count against your total scores. The next update will be clearing the raceconfig files to make sure that no old buggy files are being used to create metaverse games.

To clarify, all games submitted to the metaverse which were flagged as 'Cheat Detected' have been removed.

Well, I'm glad I didn't wait around then (went ahead and reset my scores long before this, then played a new game for 3x the score of the flagged game)

I hope the former 1st place medal works now. after defending my 1st place since digital release I need to spent more time on my studies and work again.
