For 4 months, our special cable was shut off. We never really paid for it. Rogers just let us preview it for a few months, and we decided that all those extra channels just weren't the fees. The only things that I found appealing, were the Game Show Network, and TechTV, which has Electric Playground, (The only show I would wake up to watch on a Sunday) and X-Play (It's funny, and it makes you think...........well, not really but Morgan's hot.). I used to love watching old episodes of Camp Cariboo on The Green Channel. It was a delight to watch the show that I viewed every lunch hour of my youth, but 4 weeks later, it was taken from me. Before I was able to jump on the "I'll tape every episode" wagon, the entire channel was shutdown. Now, The Green Channel is the only channel that delivers what it promises. I am now greeted with a neon green screen that reads "Technical Difficulties."
When I'm not surfing the depths of the Scream network, or the Independant Film Channel, which never shows what is listed, I await my night of reality programming. This season, I can't miss an episode of Survivor, and that might be because when The Apprentice came out, I jumped on it. For Survivor's Chapera, I hope Boston Rob gets eatin by a Hermit Crab. I hope Amber actually listens to Rob sometime soon. Rupert needs to make a eyepatch and return to his normal self, and Big Tom needs to drink more often. For Mogo Mogo, I hope Lex does well after the merge, and that Ethan finds a soccer-ball-sized coconut, cause I'm dyin to see what he can do. When he ran into the forest to get the paddles I thought that would of been a prime time to "discover" a soccer ball. I hope Jerri and Shii Ann battle it out American Gladiator style, and I hope Kathy starts acting like the Godfather, unaware of Lex's rising power.
For The Apprentice, I hope Protege goes up in flames, and Katrina is the first to get axed. My 3 favourite people from the beginning of the show, with the exception of Sam the Maverick, are still goin strong in Versacorp. Bill and Amy are doin a great job, but I'm still rootin for Nick to take the whole kit and kaboodle. Why Nick? Who knows? Maybe it's the accent.
