Can not post score to Metaverse. Wrong Serial Number.

I finished my first game and now I get a message when trying to post my score. That my serial number does not match the metaverse serail number. So I pasted in the serial from my email into the game, and I still can not post. I guess the serial must be wrong in my metaverse char. How do I fix this? On a side note: how do I delete a char? I created a test one and I want to remove it.
