The Galactic Guardians have not deciede at this point to reorganize. Those that were left at the end of GCI migrated over to the Galactic Core and have been hanging out there. Most have joined DG in the Galactic Diplomats, others have started their own empire of one. Not sure that Empires will play the same role they did in GCI, but stop by the Galactic Core and chat with us.

Have they all fallen to the Yor? Have they been assimilated into another empire? I've been away from the forums for a long while, but GC2 has got me hooked, big time, and before I submit a game, I'd like to do so as part of an empire. Anyone know what's up with the GG?

Theoden has been missing in action for some time now. The former GC members at thegalacticcore have chosen not to ressurect the GC at this time. That of course could change at anytime.

I've got to second the colonial fleet, a great group and lots of fun. only reason the browncoats are doing so well is they've got the numbers right now

Hey Gandalf, I know you used to be a part of Darth Griffins(DG's) "Embassy" site, I remember seeing you over there. We few GG players that stuck together after GCI slowed down stayed in touch with each other through DG's site (now called The Galactic Core http://thegalacticcore.com ). You'll find Weyrleader, Exalted Druid, FC, Graf von Deimos, myself, and occasionally Littlewotts there. You'll also find Tech, DG, Damoose, Moser the Alchemist, Peace Phoenix, and many others. I have decided to join DG's empire and will most likely follow the pack if the GG get resurrected.

In any event, you'll be welcome among old friends at the link above regardless of the empire you choose.

Sounds like the Diplomats are the ticket for me, though I agree with Mag on the defintion of diplomacy.

I think we should reorganize and get Greldonizing.

I still remember the old days...it was epic. I currently don't own Galciv 2 yet, was waiting to see if the Guardians had reappeared. After reading the Galciv 1 vs. Galciv 2 topic though I think I am going to have to pick it up.

The Guardians need to make a return...
