Create and use Metaverse character

from GalCiv2 Forums
I logged onto the metaverse and created a character called "Captain Chaos" but was not asked for a password

How do i use this from Galciv2? When i click the metaverse button i have to login so type my character name and need to type a password here. Using the same password i have to login to the forum does not work.

You will need to logon with your Stardock.net Account.  The same account  you used to post this message.  Once you have logged in you will then see your character(s) to use in the game.

Problem is that there is a . in my name (Capt.Chaos) and this dot is not a character that can be typed in and is ignored. Something for the bug list
