Hi Stardock,
I just wanted to pat you guys on the back... I've only found out that Galactic Civilizations 2: Dread Lords was being released a few weeks ago (thanks to the preview on IGN: so marketing DOES work
).
I was very suspicious in the beginning about the game (i played galciv I), but reading the forum convinced me to buy your game. I am downloading it as we speak and purchased it through stardock due to
1. speed to have the game
2. ease of ordering (don't need to go to the store)
3. lack of early release in Europe (was does that always take so long? In Belgium, most sold games are in english anyways... so no need to translate)
4. more money for you guys (don't like retail stores THAT much)
In short: i'm really looking forward to this game actually. I bought Civ 4 and was pretty disappointed by it. I hope GalCiv 2 will meet my expectations... but considering the posts and the journals... I think that will be no problem
